New Hire Announcement: Maulik Datanwala is Advantive’s new Chief Operating Officer

We would like to welcome Maulik Datanwala as Advantive’s Chief Operating Officer.

Maulik brings with him over two decades of experience working with enterprise software and technology companies running multiple operations at scale. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for PowerSchool Holdings (NYSE: PWSC) Professional Services, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Renewals functions. Under Maulik’s leadership, the PowerSchool Customer Operations grew fivefold during his 7 years there and was recognized with various awards from Business Intelligence Group and Stevie for excellence in Customer Support and Professional Services. Maulik’s leadership was integral in the growth of the company leading to an IPO for PowerSchool in 2021.

Prior to PowerSchool, Maulik worked at SumTotal Systems for almost 9 years and ran a number of operational functions as a part of the Executive Management team. There he built several teams, including a Client Operations team to champion the experience of strategic customers that made up half of the Fortune 500. During Maulik’s tenure leading the customer-facing functions, the Customer Experience and Net Promoter Score both saw a dramatic improvement.

Additionally, at a very early age, Maulik co-founded two software and services companies which saw successful outcomes. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree in Business Administration and Information Technology from the National Institute of Management. An avid sportsman, Maulik played Minor League Cricket in India and is often found playing in cricket leagues around the Sacramento area over weekends, where he currently resides with his wife Reena, and two kids, Rishi and Ria.

Please join us in congratulating Maulik on his new role!

Editorial standards

Fact-checking & editorial guidelines

Every article on advantive.com is written and reviewed against an internal accuracy standard before publication. Here's what that means in practice.

  • Product claims are verified by the brand team that owns the platform.

When an article references InfinityQS, WinSPC, PQ Systems, Pinpoint, ParityFactory, ProPlanner, KiwiPlan, DDI System, VeraCore, or any of Advantive's other specialty platforms, the relevant product team checks technical statements about features, deployment, and current capability before the article goes live.

  • External statistics cite their source inline.

When an article references industry survey results, regulatory benchmarks, or third-party research, the source is linked at the point of citation. Statements without an inline source link are first-party observations drawn from Advantive's product teams or customer base.

  • Publication and revision dates stay visible.

The original publication date and the most recent revision date are both shown on every article. Topics that change quickly — AI capabilities, regulatory rules, product roadmaps — are revisited on a tighter cadence than evergreen reference content.

  • Corrections are issued openly.

If a factual error is reported, the article is updated, the revision date advances, and material corrections are noted at the bottom of the article so readers can see what changed and when.
