About NAFEM

NAFEM is dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships, encouraging an environment of learning and innovation, and organizing anything from advocacy efforts to education and marketing tools. NAFEM use their voice for key initiatives and efforts, including energy, the environment, regulations, the supply chain, and taxes, tariffs & trade.

NAFEM hosts a closed-door event, the NAFEM show, bringing together industry professionals to showcase products, share insights, and foster collaboration with distributors every two years. On the off years, like this one, NAFEM holds the Annual Meeting & Management Workshop as an opportunity for industry leaders to network with their peers and share best practices and key trends in manufacturing.

Who’s Representing Advantive at NAFEM?

As the NAFEM Annual Meeting and Management Workshop approaches, we’re eagerly looking forward to the opportunities it presents. We’re excited to introduce Proplanner to industry leaders, educate those decision makers on the capabilities of the PLM software, and learn about how their factories are run and what systems their businesses use.

David C. Greene – Regional VP of Outside Sales and long-time NAFEM committee member – and Abhishek Bandyopadhyay – VP of Sales for Proplanner – will be present on behalf of Advantive. This dynamic duo of industry experts brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, ensuring that distributors can get unparalleled value from our software offerings.

Greene, an industry and NAFEM veteran, said that he is looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and introducing them to Abhishek and Proplanner. His goal is to learn how we can help these industry leaders be more profitable by leveraging Proplanner. Whereas Bandyopadhyay expressed a strong interest in learning how these businesses run their factories, what systems they currently use, and how Proplanner can provide tailored solutions.

“Proplanner presents a major step forward into Industry 4.0. Industries, like appliances, are behind and must catch up to the supply chain and customer expectations. We’re there to ensure their success. Businesses need to be connected online. It is not optional” said Bandyopadhyay.

Proplanner is more than just a software solution. It’s a catalyst for operational improvement. Proplanner leverages principles of Industry 4.0, which empowers businesses with increased productivity, reduced downtime, and improved overall equipment efficiency.

NAFEM is a unique opportunity for distributors and software companies to meet, gain industry insights, explore innovative solutions, and potentially forge partnerships that can propel their businesses to new heights. Keep an eye out for Advantive, David C. Greene, and Abhishek Bandyopadhyay, walking on the floor!

Editorial standards

Fact-checking & editorial guidelines

Every article on advantive.com is written and reviewed against an internal accuracy standard before publication. Here's what that means in practice.

  • Product claims are verified by the brand team that owns the platform.

When an article references InfinityQS, WinSPC, PQ Systems, Pinpoint, ParityFactory, ProPlanner, KiwiPlan, DDI System, VeraCore, or any of Advantive's other specialty platforms, the relevant product team checks technical statements about features, deployment, and current capability before the article goes live.

  • External statistics cite their source inline.

When an article references industry survey results, regulatory benchmarks, or third-party research, the source is linked at the point of citation. Statements without an inline source link are first-party observations drawn from Advantive's product teams or customer base.

  • Publication and revision dates stay visible.

The original publication date and the most recent revision date are both shown on every article. Topics that change quickly — AI capabilities, regulatory rules, product roadmaps — are revisited on a tighter cadence than evergreen reference content.

  • Corrections are issued openly.

If a factual error is reported, the article is updated, the revision date advances, and material corrections are noted at the bottom of the article so readers can see what changed and when.
